This year’s South By Southwest Music Conference in Austin, TX is expected to draw tens of thousands of music fans to rock out to thousands of artists jamming in close to 70 venues. For many Tori Amos fans (known as Toriphiles) this means a first glimpse at the artists latest work since 2007′s American Doll Posse when she takes to the stage on Thursday, March 19, at the Austin club, La Zona Rosa.
Ms. Amos will be the headliner of Universal Republic Records Showcase at the Austin club and will sell out during the festival that spans four days. Ms Amos’ set will include songs from her well known catalog and also hold a strong focus on the new work from her Universal Republic debut. Set to be released May 19th 2009 Amos’ newest album Abnormally Attracted To Sin will be simultaneously available in stores as well as digital format.
